• collaboration: every project begins with a collective approach, so each project not only receives the benefit of my design direction, but also the craftsmanship of the installers and routine engagement of the homeowner.
• integrity: the aspects of integrity for gardens are design, setting, materials, craftsmanship, and feeling. The beauty and worth of my outdoor spaces depend on well-conceived and innovative designs.
• strength of concept: in order to be recognizable, I make my design intentions simple and clear. A strong concept is easier to implement consistently throughout the project.
• style: the desires and tastes of the homeowner are blended with good function and eye-pleasing aesthetic. The garden style generally reflects the architectural style of the home and neighborhood. In other words, my "style" is project and client driven plus engages the senses.
